Today I held a vibe with Juxie Killer, one of the top selectors of the mid 90's to the early 2000's. The talk was good! He answered a lot of my questions about his career on Katarock sound system. Many of you recall last week's SOUND CHAT with the lead selector of Katarock -- Quincy Jones. In my conversation with Quincy, it was said that Juxie Killer was the downfall of the sound. Quincy basically said that Juxie wanted to be a one man show instead of a team player.
Here's the funny thing though.... when vybin with Juxie... the Katarock story is told alot different. Juxie's explanation counteracts a lot of what was said by Quincy. Again....... it is not my role, nor do I care to point out who is lying. Plain and simple -- my interest is to give clash fans both sides of the story. You be the judge! After listening to both sides.. it's clear what the problem was!!
I'm sorry.. but I can't get Juxie's chat up by this Monday. I just shot it today and it has to be prepared before posting. Next Monday for sure though!! Big up both Katarock selectors for the time they took out to vibe with irishandchin.com about their careers.
