Reggae/Dancehall artist Sizzla has been delivering some heated lyrical punches to a number of Dancehall acts recently in the song "Hurry Come Up." Primarily, Sizzla talks of certain happenings in the industry that he does not think highly of. First and foremost, he attacks the "Nah Sell Out" deejay Khago and the song starts: 'Come a tell di ghetto yutes seh him anuh rasta/ After yuh trick di yutes dem impostor/ Weh di judgement yuh guh grow yuh locks fa/ Di money an di bling an young gal distract yuh/... Bout yuh waan threesome inna di blue movie show/ Have two gal an a suck off di next one toe.'
These fiery lyrics, abstracted from "Hurry Come Up," are in response to the dreadlocked Khago's recent comments admitting that he was never a Rasta. Sizzla also lashed out on Natural Black, who recently cut off his locks and Beenie Man, who recently apologized to the gay community. Soon after Sizzla's song was released, Khago recorded the counteraction track "Nutten," which made it's debut minutes after being recorded on Irish and Chin's Sound Chat Radio: http://www.irishandchin.com/radio/listen-to-exclusive-radio-show-interviews/3187
Khago had many choice words for Sizzla when speaking on Sound Chat Radio earlier this week, just short of declaring a musical war. When Sizzla heard Khago's counteraction, he too went back to the studio to record a second diss song "Dash Whe Di Boy."In his song, Khago deejays:
With the release of Khago's counteraction, Sizzla followed up with a second song titled Dash Whe Di Boy.
