Word from Reggae artiste Mavado's camp is that the singjay is having a "scheduling" issue hance the 'Gully Gad' would not make a Reggae Sumfest appearance this year.

According to artiste's manager Julian Jones-Griffith, David Constantine Brooks aka Mavado was approached by Sumfest organisers, but they had to decline the invitation. For the last few weeks many have seculated whether Mavado's non- appearance was due to him not wishing to leave the US and jeopardise his current immigration status due to the artiste being convicted of assault recently in a Jamaican court.
