High riding Reggae singer I-Octane has recently cancelled several performances and is now reportedly admitted to hospital after falling ill late last week, reportedly due to an asthma attack.

A member of the artiste's team said he took ill on Thursday night and was taken to a hospital in Kingston where he is now under the care of his physician. His fans are hoping it's not anything more serious as he was seen at Mojito Mondays recently, walking with some discomfort.

According to the singjay's camp however, he is expected to make a full recovery and is looking forward to performing soon, but has been advised by his doctor to rest until further reassessment.

I-Octane's most recent performance was at Reggae Sumfest which was held recently.
