Controversial deejay Desmond Ballentine aka Ninja Man has this week declared war against Moses Davis aka Beenie Man for what he sees as disparaging remarks that Beenie made towards Shabba Ranks, during his recent trip to Jamaica where he performed on Reggae Sumfest.

According to Ninja Man Vybz Kartel sent a warder telling him, "look what they are saying about Shabba then what would they say about me and all I have done for the music", urging him Ninja Man to defend the music. Ninja Man says if Beenie does not publicly apologise he is going to in his words “hunt him down” and clash him anywhere he finds him including walking out on any stage during a Beenie Man performance.

While many fans are not in favour of what Beenie Man said in relation to Shabba Ranks they are also wondering if the 'Don Gorgon' is simply not seeking attention, with some saying but he is too early as Sting is months away. Over the years it had become customary for acts such as Ninja Man and Merciless to create public mischief with top entertainment personalities weeks before the popular Sting show boostig their own visibility/media lime light.
