WTF is up Black Kat

The 7x crowned World Clash champions sorely disappointed. Honestly there is nothing positive being said about Black Kat at this point regarding their appearances at World Clash R.E.S.E.T 2012 staging in New York and Jamaica. Originally we were told by Black Kat's owner to purchase tickets for Yunzie and a Florida based selector as they were to represent the sound system. The fuckery started when Yunzie arrived in New York on the Thursday with no dub plates in tow and said that he was recently called by the owner of Black Kat's partner and told he was not to play/represent Black Kat at World Clash New York. Please note that Yunzie departed from Black Kat some time ago but was asked by the owner of Black Kat to represent the sound after Panther had abruptly made a public statement about now being retired from clashing. So he lands in New York with no tunes and we figured that the selector from Florida would then be coming with everything which of course wasn't so. At about 10pm Friday night we were notified that a second selector would be landing in New York at midnight to play Black Kat sound in the clash. So now there is Yunzie who is not playing the sound, and 2 Floridian selectors who will instead lead the charge for Black Kat on World Clash. What a mess!

Well I don't have to spell it out, the writing was on the wall and by now the whole world must have heard of Black Kat's demise at World Clash R.E.S.E.T in New York.

Now it's Easter Monday night at World Clash R,E,S,E,T Jamaica and a different team shows up to pull  ranks for Black Kat. Never the less different selectors same result. Black Kat failed to ignite the necessary energy needed to live up to the sound system World Clash standard. Honestly I would love to get Panther's take on this debacle, I am wondering how he feels about abandoning his team in the midst of a competition with such global visibility. He of all persons knows very well that one's performance on a World Clash stage can make or break a selector/sound system's career, he also being very experienced would have been able to judge accurately whether or not Black Kat's teams were prepared.
