I must admit I enjoyed World Clash R.E.S.E.T New York it was a HUGE success. It felt great to hand out special awards to mark IrishandChin's 15th anniversary celebrations to some of the clash participants and other World Clash affiliates including David Rodigan, Tony Matterhorn, Bass Odyssey, Black Kat, Mikey Tenn, Poison Dart, DJ Roy, Dubmaster and Mighty Crown. With that out of the way I must mention and pay respect to the many females who turned out in their finest on a very chilly New York April night. Big up too to all 'massive and crew' who were well behaved and orderly. Amazura was certainly locked and loaded and with the exception of Black Kat all participating sound systems/selectors rocked the capacity crowd with legendary dubs and clever speeches.
It should also be noted that at minutes to 5am when the final round/'Tune fi Tune' began no one had left their spot much less the building, all were awaiting the showdown between David Rodigan and Bass Odyssey in the finals.
I am glad that Rodigan finally won a World Clash title having come close before; his legacy was perfectly capped with this win as he out of all the participants may be ending his clashing days soon. I thank everyone for embracing our R.E.S.E.T campaign and coming out to celebrate Irish and Chin's 15 years
