No! Don’t get excited,  I’m only using the term 45 clash to highlight our new radio competition on Sound Chat, Mondays from 7-10 pm.  It’s a sound clash yes but not the kind of sound clash that you were expecting.  Monday night’s 45 clash is a competition in which we take two recently released dancehall/reggae songs and face them off with each other.  The winner is determined by the amount of votes accumulated from phone, text, chat room and website poll.

This week was the debut of the competition and it was Selecta by Rayvon out of New York versus Sound System by YT out of England.  The votes were heavy and the end result showed Rayvon getting the advantage over YT.  Therefore, Rayvon is the champion and he will defend his title on next Monday’s show.  Nevertheless if you didn’t get a chance to vote, please do so on the poll below and leave your comments if any, we would love to hear what you have to say.
