I thank everyone who has been taking part in my weekly "Who is Better?" competition. The responses have been great so far, but I urge more clash fans to share their toughts on the board. I decided to make this week's competition a very hard one. I want to compare the likes of the clash industry's two most out of control sound killers -- Ricky Trooper and Baby Face. Both of these selectors come from the "Rub-a-dub" era. Both became lengends; took the gangster apporach when clashing; were great dubplate creators; and paid huge contributions to the arena. So, I ask WHO was better? Please note this is definitely not a competition between Jaro and Addies. You are allowed to make reference to each sound, but please don't compare the two. This is soley about the skills of Trooper vs that of Baby Face.

trooper is the one of the best modern day selectors , he balances his great stage performance/aura with his great selection of tunes ,trooper is not one of these liki liki selectors , he was born in music and his knowledge of the music is great as he has been schooled in the various schools pf thought , you name it he can play it from Studio one - treasure ilse to channel one he can play it as well as blend it with the new music , modern day selector boys just want to play Kartel Mavado only . Selectors respect and love your craft and it will take care of you

Stop the bull shit,Trooper out ranks face hands down.Now i live two blocks in BK from King addies base camp Penn Ave.Addies don\'t even have one lasting memorey in that HOOD!.Best thing addies and face can do is get the boss to open a next spot to get some (okay)Smoke.Trooper is a real killer,Not once have trooper lost a dance in BROOKLYN or any Bk sound elswhere ever killed JARO OR SoundTrooper.LOL to LP INT.Dead in BK TOO.

In Europe Ricky Trooper is a bigger name than Baby Face. Baby Face keeps touring in Europe but most of the dances flop
