Irish and Chin Set to Reimburse Tolls

irishandchin_PlumberNY_1Promotions team Irish and Chin is gearing up for their Fall Tour of Jamaica's hit stage play "The Plumber." For the very first time, Irish and Chin is offering patrons from the Bronx, New York on-the-spot reimbursement of their tolls when they attend either of "The Plumber's" New York stagings (October 9/Tilden High School/Brooklyn or October 10/York College/Queens).

"We tried to find a venue in the Bronx but were unsuccessful, as rental of the regular venues/schools that normally host Caribbean theater, has been put on hold by the Board of Education for some reason. We are not sure now long this hold will last.  But we can assure patrons that there are no venues being granted at this time," says Garfield "Chin" Bourne of Irish and Chin.

"Since the start of our promo campaign for 'The Plumber,' Bronx patrons have called the Irish and Chin office to express their disappointment in not having a Bronx leg of the tour. So, we devised the incentive of paying tolls for Bronx patrons to make up for the unavailability of venues in their area," adds Garfield "Chin" Bourne.

Irish and Chin recognizes the importance of building an ongoing relationship with those who support their efforts. With customer service as a priority, Irish and Chin believes that toll reimbursement is a worthwhile perk for Bronx patrons. To be reimbursed, patrons will simply need to present their their toll receipt(s) upon arrival. Now, consumers through out New York will have an equal opportunity to enjoy top rate Caribbean entertainment.

Right now, the buzz centered on "The Plumber's" U.S. Fall Tour is incredible, as reflected in the surge of online ticket sales. By incorporating a dancehall element into their play stagings and offering patrons dynamic prizes, Irish and Chin has won over legions of theatergoers -- many who didn't normally attend Jamaican plays in the past. Irish and Chin's unique approach to theater is wildly popular, resulting in sold-out U.S. performances of numerous hit plays. The promotions team's efforts secured them an exclusive tour deal with Jamaica's leading play producers Stages Productions earlier this year.

"The Plumber" is indisputably the funniest play to hail from Jamaica this year.  Written by Paul O. Beale and Directed by Paul O. Beale and Stede "Jooky Jam" Flash, "The Plumber" will leave audiences in stitches. Notably, the play features all all-star cast, which is led by Jamaica's "Queen of Comedy" Andrea "Delcita" Wright.
