What a show! In honor of Jamaica's 50th Independence we examine the careers of two of dancehall's prominent artistes of the 80's, Peter Metro and General Trees.  After listening to interview clips and music recorded by both artistes we polled the question: Who made the greater impact during the 80's era?  A question that got the phone lines buzzing but a very hard debate to settle.  We heard from a few artistes from that era who also gave their testimony on the impact of both artistes.  One thing that still remains, General Trees and Peter Metro truly stamped their mark during the 1980's.

Peter Metro stirred up a very interesting debate which was: Who is the real Beenie Man? A question which evolved after Metro stated in his interview that there was a Beenie Man before Moses Davis.  Take a listen and enjoy.
